Power LED - light patterns and descriptions

LED Color Description
Solid Red Base Station when it first powers on
Solid Orange

When Base Station is first powered on

When Running on internal battery, before Low Power Mode

Solid Green

Updated has finished, and the Base Station is ready to be used

AC Power is connected

Running on Ring Power Packs

Off (No color) Base Station is running on Low Power Mode

 

Internet LED - light patterns and descriptions

LED Color Description
Solid Green

Connected to the internet via ethernet with a working internet connection

Connected to the internet via 24/7 Backup Internet (requires a Ring Protect Pro subscription or trial)

Blinking Red No internet connection
Off (No color) Base Station is running on Low Power Mode

Solid Red

Internet cannot be reached

Solid White When Base Station is first powered on
Flashing White Downloading and installing the first software update
Solid White Internet is connected

 

LED ring patterns 

LED Color Description
Blue LED spinning clockwise around the circle

Bluetooth pairing has started

4 corner LEDs flashing blue five times Bluetooth pairing error
Solid Blue LED circle Bluetoothe pairing successful
Solid Blue with one Green dot spinning clockwise around the circle Base Station is downloading a software update
Purple dot spinning clockwise Base Station shutdown in progress
Solid Blue Ring Alarm Pro is disarmed
Solid Red Ring Alarm Pro is armed in Home or Away Mode
Solid red sections turn on, one at a time, until circle is completed red Exit delay. Circle will complete when Exit delay is finished and Ring Alarm is armed
Red circle blinks on and off  Entry Delay. Circle blinks until Ring Alarm is disarmed
LED circle is dimmed Low Power Mode
