Ring Chime and Ring Chime Pro (1st generation) no longer being sold on Ring.com

The Ring Chime and Ring Chime Pro (1st generation) are no longer being sold on Ring.com. 

Why is Ring no longer selling the Ring Chime and Ring Chime Pro (1st generation)?

Ring is always working to improve its products and enhance the security of our neighbors. The Ring Chime and Ring Chime Pro (1st generation) are being replaced in our product line-up by the more advanced but comparable Ring Chime and Ring Chime Pro (2nd generation) with a new design.

Will Ring still support the Ring Chime and Ring Chime Pro (1st generation)?

Yes. Ring's Help Center and Customer Support team members will support the Ring Chime and Ring Chime Pro (1st generation) for as long as they continue to be used by our neighbors.

Does the warranty that comes with the purchase of a Ring Chime and Ring Chime Pro (1st generation) remain in force?

Yes. Ring will honor any and all warranties given with the purchase of a Ring Chime and Ring Chime Pro (1st generation) until their conclusion as laid out in the terms and conditions.

I purchased a Ring Chime or Ring Chime Pro (1st generation) from a retailer. Can I exchange it for a Ring Chime and Ring Chime Pro (2nd generation)?

Yes. If you are within the retailer's return window, you can always return your Ring Chime or Ring Chime Pro (1st generation) to the retailer and then purchase a new Ring Chime or Ring Chime Pro (2nd generation). 

Note: You will be required to pay any difference in price between the 1st generation and the 2nd generation product. 

I purchased a Ring Chime or Ring Chime Pro (1st generation) as part of a product bundle. Is the device still covered by Ring?

Yes. Ring will honor any warranty offered with the device and support any Ring Chime or Ring Chime Pro (1st generation) until the end of the life of the device. 

I purchased a Ring Chime or Ring Chime Pro (1st generation) as part of a product bundle. Can I upgrade, return, or exchange the device for a Ring Chime or Ring Chime Pro (2nd generation)?

No. Items sold as part of a product bundle cannot be upgraded, returned, or exchanged on their own.
