What is the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus?
Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is an outdoor floodlight security camera with 1080p HD video. Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus has ultra-bright, motion-activated LED floodlights, Customizable Motion Zones, Live View, Color Night Vision, a 105db siren and two-way talk.

Does the Floodlight Cam Wired Plus save my videos so I can see them later?
Yes, if you have a subscription to a Ring Protect plan.
Your Ring videos stored in the cloud are stored temporarily, up to 180 days. Changing your video storage time will only affect videos that are recorded after you adjust your storage time setting. Check Ring Protect subscription plans for more information. Learn more about storage time.
Can Floodlight Cam Wired Plus operate on alternative power options such as a solar panel or battery?
No. The Floodlight Cam Wired Plus requires hardwiring.
Can I install Floodlight Cam Wired Plus in different positions?
Yes. Floodlight Cam Wired Plus can be mounted on a wall or on a ceiling, such as on a patio.
Can I install a junction box myself?
If you do not already have a junction box, one can be installed, however, Ring highly recommends that you engage a qualified electrician for this.
How high should I install my Floodlight Cam Wired Plus?
Nine feet (three meters) off the ground is the optimal height to get the best range for the motion detector.
Does Floodlight Cam Wired Plus have a dusk-to-dawn feature?
Yes. Through the Ring app, you can create a custom light schedule for your floodlight.
Can I dim the Floodlight Cam Wired Plus?
Yes, you can dim the floodlights through the Ring app.
If I connect Floodlight Cam Wired Plus to a light switch, can I use the switch to turn on the lights?
No, we recommend not to. The light switch controls the power to the device. Turning the light switch "off" will power down the device and turning the light switch "on" will power up the device. If you’d like to control your Floodlight Cam Wired Plus lights, you can do so from the device dashboard in the Ring app.
Does Floodlight Cam Wired Plus have a warranty?
Yes. Floodlight Cam Wired Plus has a 1-year limited warranty and theft protection.
