Managing Privacy and Security Preferences

Customer privacy, security, and control are foundational to Ring. As a part of Ring’s efforts to bring more transparency and control to our Ring neighbors, the ability to opt-out of analytics has been added to the Control Center. We’ve also added a Cookie Preferences Manager on select Ring.com webpages.

We've begun introducing select analytics services to help us better understand how users navigate and use our websites and applications so that we can provide the best possible customer experience.

 We do not sell your personal information but may share certain information with our third party service providers in accordance with our Privacy Notice. You can adjust your settings at any time from the ring app, a desktop or laptop computer at Ring.com, or from a mobile browser at Ring.com. As always, you can opt-in or opt-out at any time.

Note: Third party analytics services are often referred to as 3P Analytics.

To Opt-Out of Third Party Provider Services in the Ring app:

• Open the Ring app.
• Tap the three lines on the top left of the screen.
• Tap

  Control Center

• Look for

  Third Party Service Providers.
  • Third Party Service Providers is Under Privacy Information, you may have to scroll up on the screen.
• On the next page you can enable or disable

  Web and App Analytics

  and

  Personalized Advertising.
  • Blue means opted in, white means opted out.
  • 

To Opt-out of Third Party Provider Services on a Desktop or Laptop Computer at Ring.com:

• Go to

  Ring.com

  on a computer or laptop.
• On the top left select

  Account

  .
• Click on

  Control Center

  from the drop down menu under

  Account

  . 
• In the

  Control Center

  , scroll down to

  Privacy Information.
• Select

  Third Party Service Providers

  . 
• Adjust your settings accordingly.
  • Blue means opted in, white means opted out.

To Opt-Out of Third Party Provider Services on a Mobile Device at Ring.com:

• Go to

  Ring.com

  on your mobile device browser. 
• Tap the three lines on the top left of the screen.
• Tap

  Control Center

• Scroll up until you find

  Privacy Information.
• Tap

  Third Party Service Providers.
• Adjust your settings accordingly. 
  • Blue means opted in, white means opted out.
