Professional monitoring and permits for Ring Alarm with Verizon LTE

If you have a Ring Alarm Security Kit with Verizon LTE kit and a Security by Ring plan, you can choose to enroll in professional monitoring through Ring.

Security by Ring professional monitoring

Ring provides professional monitoring with 24/7 emergency response from police, fire, and medical emergency responders. Learn more about professional monitoring.

Some jurisdictions require you to verify alarm signals before emergency responders can be dispatched to your address. Find out more about Ring’s Guard Response service which can verify alarms if you’re not available.

Read about the types of alarms that are covered by Ring professional monitoring, and how the monitoring center responds to each type of alarm.

Ring Alarm can also professionally monitor commercial locations and businesses. Click here for more information.

How to get a Ring Alarm permit

Your professionally monitored Ring Alarm system may require an alarm permit or registration depending on the rules of your jurisdiction. If you do need a permit, Ring is here to help.

After you complete your professional monitoring enrollment, Ring sends you an email to let you know whether you need a permit or not, along with your links to your local ordinances. If you do need a permit, it’s not a complicated process, but you might need to fill out a form and there may be a fee.

Click here for a detailed look at the permit application process.

Keep an eye out for the email from Ring with your permit details. If you have questions or need help, the Ring permit team can provide you with assistance.
