Requirements for an insurance certificate for Ring Alarm

  • Only the Ring Account Owner can receive an insurance certificate.
  • Insurance certificates are only available to Ring Alarm users who are enrolled in alarm professional monitoring,* which requires a Ring Protect Pro subscription ($20/month or $200/year).
  • If at any time you unenroll from professional monitoring* and/or unsubscribe from Protect Pro, the certificate will be void and you may lose the insurance discount.

Potential savings from an Alarm professional monitoring* discount

The cost savings from an insurance discount could cover at least a part of your Ring Protect Pro subscription cost ($20/month or $200/year) when you are enrolled in professional monitoring* for Ring Alarm.

Your actual savings depends on your home’s size and location, your insurance carrier, your premiums, and a number of other factors.

Additional resources:

* A compatible Ring Protect subscription is required to enroll in the Ring Alarm professional monitoring service. Professional monitoring service is available only within the U.S. (all 50 states, but not U.S. territories) and in Canada (excluding Quebec). Ring does not own its own professional monitoring center. Smoke and carbon monoxide monitoring is not available for commercial properties. See Ring Alarm licenses at: https://www.ring.com/licenses.
