How Do You Enable Professional Monitoring for Ring Alarm?

Signing up for a subscription plan does not automatically enroll you in professional monitoring, but once you have a plan, it’s easy to complete your monitoring setup with just a few steps. We’ll ask you to confirm a few details and let us know who we should contact in an emergency. You’ll also choose a verbal password.

To enroll in professional monitoring using your Ring app:

1. Open the Ring app.
2. Tap the

   Menu

   .
3. Tap

   Settings

   .
4. Tap the monitoring option that is currently listed under

   Type

   .
5. Tap

   Professional

   Monitoring

   .
6. Tap

   I Agree

   to agree to the terms and conditions.
7. Complete the rest of the professional monitoring setup, then check your email. 

To enroll in professional monitoring online:

1. Visit

   Ring.com

   and log into your account.
2. Tap on

   Settings

   in the top nav.
3. Tap the monitoring option that is currently listed under

   Type

   .
4. Tap

   Professional

   Monitoring

   .
5. Tap

   I Agree

   to agree to the terms and conditions.
6. Complete the rest of the professional monitoring setup, then check your email.  

Don't forget to check your email.

If you’ve successfully completed your enrollment, you’ll receive a “Welcome to Professional Monitoring” email. 

You’ll also receive a second email confirming whether or not your jurisdiction requires a permit.
