How do you sign up for professional monitoring?

To get professional monitoring for your Ring Alarm or Ring Alarm Pro, complete these 3 steps.

Step 1: Sign up for a Ring Protect subscription.

Visit Ring.com, log into your account, and sign up for a Ring Protect plan that includes professional monitoring. Please note that you’ll need to have at least one Ring device, such as your Ring Alarm or Ring Alarm Pro Base Station or a Ring camera set up on your account.

If you purchase your plan on Amazon.com, please remember to link your Ring and Amazon account and attach the subscription to a location in the Ring app.

Step 2: Enroll in professional monitoring.

Subscribing to Ring Protect does not automatically enroll you in professional monitoring. However, it’s easy to complete your professional monitoring setup. We’ll ask you to confirm a few details and let us know who we should contact in an emergency. You’ll also choose a verbal password.

To enroll using your Ring app:

  1. Open the Ring App.
  2. Tap the Menu.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Monitoring.
  5. Tap Professional Monitoring.
  6. Tap I Agree to agree to the terms and conditions.
  7. Complete the rest of the professional monitoring setup, then check your email.

To enroll online:
