Ring Video Doorbell 2 No Longer Being Sold on Ring.com

As of April 29, 2020, the Ring Video Doorbell 2 is no longer being sold on Ring.com. The former position in Ring's product line-up held by the Ring Video Doorbell 2 is now being filled by the more advanced Ring Video Doorbell 3.

Note: This does not apply to Ring.com in Australia and New Zealand where Ring 2 devices are still available.

Why is Ring no longer selling the Ring Video Doorbell 2?
Ring is always working to improve its products and enhance the security of our neighbors. The Ring Video Doorbell 2 has reached the natural end of its lifecycle and is now being replaced in our product line-up by the more advanced but comparable Ring Video Doorbell 3.

Will Ring still support the Ring Video Doorbell 2?
Yes. Ring's Help Center and Customer Support team members will support the Ring Video Doorbell 2 for as long as it continues to be used by our neighbors.

Does the warranty that comes with the purchase of a Ring Video Doorbell 2 remain in force?
Yes. Ring will honor any and all warranties given with the purchase of a Ring Video Doorbell 2 until their conclusion as laid out in the terms and conditions.

I purchased a Ring Video Doorbell 2 from a retailer. Can I exchange it for a Ring Video Doorbell 3?
Yes. If you are within the retailer's return window, you can always return your Ring Video Doorbell 2 to the retailer and then purchase a new Ring Video Doorbell 3. 

Note: You will be required to pay any difference in price between the Ring Video Doorbell 2 and the Ring Video Doorbell 3. 

I purchased a Ring Video Doorbell 2 as part of a product bundle. Is the device still covered by Ring?
Yes. Ring will honor any warranty offered with the device and support any Ring Video Doorbell 2 until the end of the life of the device. 

I purchased a Ring Video Doorbell 2 as part of a product bundle. Can I upgrade, return, or exchange the device for a Ring Video Doorbell 3?
No. Items sold as part of a product bundle cannot be upgraded, returned, or exchanged on their own.
