Receiving calls from Ring Monitoring

Learn how to receive and manage emergency calls from the Ring Monitoring Center when your alarm sounds and you have added on Alarm Professional Monitoring.1

Understanding Contact Permissions

When you set up Ring Alarm, the Ring app asks for permission to access your contact list. This makes it easier to:

  • Add emergency contacts
  • Save the Ring Monitoring phone number

Note: Ring never saves or accesses other contacts on your phone. You can decline this permission and save the Ring Monitoring contact manually.
