Neighbors Safety Report

The Neighbors Safety Report is a free weekly report offered by Ring to everyone using the Neighbors feature and Neighbors App. The Neighbors Safety Report will appear every Sunday in your Neighborhood feed and will contain localized crime and safety incidents reported to law enforcement for your neighborhood. Why are you receiving the Neighbors Safety Report?
The Neighbors Safety Report is a free service offered to everyone who uses the Ring or Neighbors App. The purpose is to help our Ring users stay informed of the incidents that have been reported in their area in the last seven days. 

What kind of incidents are listed in the Neighbors Safety Report?

The following reported incidents will be listed in the Neighbors Safety Report:

  • Homicide
  • Shootings
  • Assaults 
  • Robbery
  • Theft
  • Vandalism

Will suspicious activity or a stranger on a property be included in the Neighbors Safety Report?
No. The Neighbors Safety Report only includes incidents that have been reported to local law enforcement. Events reported by users in the Ring or Neighbors App are not included in the report.

When should you expect the Neighbors Safety Report? 
You should expect to receive the Neighbors Safety Report every Sunday. It will cover the last seven days.

If you didn't receive the Neighbors Safety Report this week. 
Neighbors Safety Reports are only generated when there are new reported incidents in your particular neighborhood over the last seven days. If there are no new incidents reported to law enforcement in your area, a report will not be delivered that week.
