Can I use the Ring Stick Up Cam Elite inside?
Yes. The Ring Stick Up Cam Elite is an indoor/outdoor camera, so it can be mounted anywhere, indoors or out. Be aware, however, that wherever the Stick-up Cam Elite is mounted, you will have to run an Ethernet cable to your PoE Adapter.
Is the Ring Stick Up Cam Elite weatherproof?
Yes. The Stick Up Cam Elite is weather-resistant. It was designed to work at temperatures ranging from -5 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 to 48.5 degrees Celsius). The PoE Adapter, however, is not and should not be used outdoors.

What wifi networks is Ring Stick Up Cam Elite compatible with?
Ring Stick Up Cam is compatible with b/g/n wifi networks operating on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz frequencies. It can also send and receive data over Ethernet.
What is the recommended Internet speed for Ring Stick Up Cam Elite?
Requires a minimum upload speed of 1Mbps, but 2Mbps is recommended for optimal performance.
Data Usage and Recording Plans
Does Stick Up Cam Elite use data all the time or just when it's activated?
Ring Stick Up Cam Elite will only use data when it’s activated by an event or when you access Live View via the Ring app. If Ring Stick Up Cam Elite doesn’t detect motion or isn’t activated with the app, it won’t use your data.
Does Stick Up Cam Elite keep footage for later review?
It can, however, this requires a subscription to Ring Protect Plan, an optional service that allows you to view, save, and share video.

Where can I mount Ring Stick Up Cam Elite?
Ring Stick Up Cam Elite can be mounted anywhere indoors or out, it can sit on its own stand or be mounted to a wall or ceiling, but works best when approximately five to seven feet off the ground. The PoE Adapter is not weatherproof and should not be used outdoors.
