How to Subscribe to the Ring Protect Plan

What is the Ring Protect Plan?

Ring Protect Plan is a subscription that provides video storage for up to 60 days so that you never miss an important moment. With a Ring Protect Plan you can also save and share your favorite moments with your mobile device or computer. 

Is the Ring Protect Plan required?
No, you can still use your Ring devices without a subscription. Motion notifications, Live View, and Two-way talk are all available for free without a plan on all Ring cameras and doorbells. Read more about Ring Protect.

How do I subscribe to a Ring Protect Plan?
Click the Subscribe button below and follow these steps:

  1. Log into your account
    • Enter the same username and password you use on the Ring app
  2. Underneath one of the devices you want to cover, click Subscribe
  3. Select all the devices you want to subscribe to Ring Protect Basic or Plus
    • Click the Select Plan button
  4. Choose the Protect Basic or Protect Plus plan
    • For your convenience, this page will highlight the pricing and benefits of each plan
      • If you selected multiple devices and choose Basic, then the price of Basic will be charged for each device.
      • Plus covers all devices at one location for one price.
    • Click the Payment Method button
  5. Enter your payment details on the secure form
    • Click Review Order
  6. Finally, click the Purchase Button

 

Does Ring offer different Ring Protect Plans?
Yes, Ring provides two types of Ring Protect Plans - Ring Protect Basic and Ring Protect Plus. The Basic plans covers one device and the Plus plan covers all devices at a location. You can learn more about the benefits of each plan on the Ring Protect plans page.

What is the price of each plan?
Ring Protect Basic is $3 per month or $30 per year for each device subscribed.
Ring Protect Plus is $10 per month or $100 each year to cover all devices at your home.

You can choose a monthly or yearly billing cycle for each plan.
