Setting Up and Controlling Your Groups in the Ring App

One of the most powerful ways to use your Ring lights and cameras is to group them together using the "Groups" function in the Ring app. Grouping your Ring devices allows them to react intelligently to events that happen on your property. You can, for example, turn on all the lights on one side of the house when any single Smart Light device or Cam in that group detects motion. You can also turn on and off and control large numbers of Smart Lights without having to use them individually.

The remainder of this article will provide all the information you need to set up and manage your Groups.

For more general information about the Groups feature, see Grouping Multiple Devices in the Ring App.
