Ring Protect Pro Plan and the Ring Alarm

Ring Protect is an optional subscription that covers video recording services for Ring devices. In addition, the Ring Protect Pro Plan allows you to get 24/7 professional monitoring, Backup Internet, and more for your Ring Alarm or Ring Alarm Pro system (if it's available in your area), and gives you a 10% discount on select products on Ring.com (USA, Canada, UK, EU, Australia or New Zealand) and Amazon.com (US only).

The following article details some of the frequently asked questions concerning Ring Protect Pro Plan subscription and how it applies to Ring Alarm.

Where is Professional Monitoring Available?

The professional monitoring service is available only within the U.S. (all 50 states, excluding American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands) and Canada (excluding Quebec).

Does the Ring Protect Basic or Plus Plan cover 24/7 Professional Monitoring?
No, only the Ring Protect Pro Plan includes 24/7 Professional Monitoring. And, in order to have Professional Monitoring, you must have a Ring Alarm or Ring Alarm Pro system. Professional Monitoring is not available for Ring security cameras and doorbells without Ring Alarm.

Will my 10% discount from the Ring Protect Pro Plan apply to the Ring Alarm?
You can see a list products eligible for the 10% Ring Protect discount here. Discount applies to Ring Protect Plus and Pro subscribers only. Terms and conditions apply.
