I Have Not Received My Neighbors Referral Credits

If you have not yet received a credit for your Neighbors referral, it is possible that your referral was deemed invalid.

For security and privacy purposes, we cannot share the exact reason referrals are deemed invalid. However, it is possible your referrals did not pass our system checks. Below you can find additional information on our validation process.

Our Validation Process

Not all referrals are eligible for credit under the Neighbors Referral Program. In order to receive credit for a referral, the referred individual must meet all the requirements laid out in our terms. If a referral is deemed to be valid, you will be notified by email.

When someone uses your link to download and sign up for the Neighbors application, we check to see if:

  • Your referee has ever had a Ring account or installed the Ring app.
  • The referral was generated using your custom referral link.
  • The download was unique and valid to that user and phone.
  • The nature and purpose of the referral meet the Terms.

If any of these criteria are not met, the referral is not considered valid.

Please note that all decisions with respect to the validity of a referral are in Ring’s sole discretion and are final.
