Fixing Your Smoke & CO Listener

If your Smoke & CO Listener is offline, your Ring Alarm cannot provide professional monitoring for smoke, fire, and carbon monoxide until the device is back online.

To restore your professional fire monitoring, try the following recommendations until your device is working properly:

  • Press the button on the Smoke & CO Listener
  • Open and close the Smoke & CO Listener to see if your Ring system restores it.
  • Replace the battery.
  • Check that your Range Extender is plugged in and working.
Note: Your smoke/fire and carbon monoxide detectors are not affected if your Smoke & CO Listener goes offline and should still sound an alarm if there is an immediate threat.
