Amazon Home Services is a network of service professionals who are handpicked, trained, knowledgeable about Ring products, and are fully insured. You can make convenient appointments that fit in with your schedule and have a professional installer at your door ready to install your Ring product.
What if I want to install my Ring myself? Do I have to use AHS?
No. If you would like to install your Ring yourself, Ring maintains a variety of self-service materials and information that can help you.
Can I use another installer to install my Ring?
Yes. AHS is one of many professional installation partners with whom Ring maintains a working relationship. We have selected AHS to be our partner because of their reputation for excellence.
How do I set up an appointment with AHS?
You cannot set up an AHS appointment through the Ring.com website. To begin the process, simply sign in to your Amazon account at the sign-up page and set up a convenient appointment.
Once I set up an appointment, what kind of confirmation is there?
Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive the following:
- An email confirmation
- A text message on your mobile phone (assuming you have provided it as a contact number).
- You will receive a confirmation email and picture of your technician 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Can I change or cancel orders prior to their arrival?
You can communicate with your technician, reschedule the appointment, or cancel online via Amazon Orders. Because you aren't charged until the actual work is completed, canceling a job doesn't require a refund.
I currently have an appointment with HelloTech. Will that appointment be moved to AHS or refunded?
No. Existing HelloTech appointments will remain on the books, and HelloTech will complete all their current, outstanding appointments.
What happens if I previously had work done by HelloTech and there was an issue with the work?

What happens if the technician is late or misses an appointment?
You can handle any issues relating to your technician or your appointment by contacting AHS.
