Remove and Factory Resetting Your Smoke and CO Listener

Easily remove your Ring Alarm Smoke & CO Listener¹ from your Ring Alarm system or complete a factory reset from the Ring app.

How to remove your Ring Alarm Smoke & CO Listener

To remove the Smoke & CO Listener from your Ring Alarm system: 

1. Open the Ring app.
2. Tap the

   menu (☰

   ).
3. Tap

   Devices

   .
4. Tap the

   Smoke/CO Listener

   under the Sensors section.
5. Tap the

   Device Settings

   tile.
6. Tap

   Remove Device

   at the bottom of the screen.
7. Confirm device removal by tapping

   Remove Device

   on the next screen.
8. Tap

   Got it

   once your Smoke & CO Listener is successfully removed.

How to factory reset your Ring Alarm Smoke & CO Listener

1. Press and hold the Setup button for about 10 seconds.
2. When the LED stops blinking, your Listener² has reset.
