How to Use Motion Snooze and Global Snooze

Learn how to use the Motion Snooze and Global Snooze features in the Ring app to disable Motion Alerts.

Motion Snooze

The Motion Snooze feature lets you silence your notifications temporarily without editing the device settings.

Additionally, the Ring app allows you to disable Motion Alerts from a Ring device for a pre-set length of time.

You can avoid excessive notifications when there is a lot of activity around your home. Cameras will continue to record and videos will appear in your Event History if you are subscribed to a Ring Protect plan

Motion Snooze is not available when Motion Alerts are turned off in the Ring app. The screen will look like the image below when Motion Alerts are off.
