Turning Off Your Internal Doorbell Chime on Ring Wired Doorbell Plus (formerly Video Doorbell Pro)

How to switch your home's existing internal doorbell chime on and off from your Ring Wired Doorbell Plus.

Note: Changing these settings will not affect your Ring Chime device, but your home's internal hardwired mechanical doorbell chime. These settings can be updated at any time.

1. Open the Ring app.
2. Tap the

   menu (☰)

   , then tap

3. Tap on your Ring Wired Doorbell Plus.
4. Tap

   Device

   Settings

   .
5. Select

   In-Home Chime Settings

   .
6. Tap the toggle to turn on or turn off your in-home doorbell chime.
   • If the toggle is blue, the feature is turned on.
   • If the toggle is white, the feature is turned off.
7. Tap

   Save

   in the upper right to save your changes.
