Ring Spotlight Cam is a high-definition (HD) security camera with spotlights designed to be mounted anywhere you need some extra security. Spotlight Cams come in four different configurations:
- Spotlight Cam (1st Gen), Wired: An HD camera with two-way talk and spotlights, plugged-in for non-stop power and security.
- Spotlight Cam (1st Gen), Battery: A battery-powered HD camera with two-way talk and spotlights, for security anywhere you need.
- Spotlight Cam (1st Gen), Solar: An HD camera with two-way talk and spotlights, connected to a Solar Panel for non-stop power.
- Spotlight Cam (1st Gen) Mount: A versatile hardwired HD camera with two-way talk, spotlights and three flush mounting brackets.

Can I use the Ring Solar Panel I use for my Stick Up Cam with my Ring Spotlight Cam?
No. The Ring Solar Panel for the Stick Up Cam and the Ring Solar Panel for the Spotlight Cam are two different pieces of equipment and one cannot be substituted for the other.

What Wifi networks is Ring Spotlight Cam compatible with?
Ring Spotlight Cam is compatible with 802.11 b/g/n wifi networks operating on 2.4 gHz frequencies.
What is the recommended Internet speed for Ring Spotlight Cam?
For best streaming performance, we recommend 2 Mbps upload and download speeds though the video will function at lower speeds.
Installation
Where can I mount Ring Spotlight Cam?
Ring Spotlight Cam can be mounted anywhere on a wall, although the Ring Spotlight Cam - Wired will need to be within plug-in distance to a wall outlet.
You can mount Ring Spotlight Cam directly into wood using the provided screws and screwdriver. If you are mounting to brick, concrete, or stucco, do the following:
- Mark the holes where you wish to mount your Ring Spotlight.
- Drill a hole for the anchors using the provided drill bit.
- Insert the anchors.
- Use the screws to secure the mount.
