The Ring Stick Up Cam/Spotlight Cam Exchange Policy

Question: Is the Ring Spotlight Cam considered an upgrade to the Ring Stick Up Cam?

Answer: No. The Ring Spotlight Cam and the Ring Stick Up Cam are two entirely separate products with different feature sets and different prices. Each is useful under different sets of circumstances and will appeal to people with differing budget priorities. 

Question: Can I upgrade or exchange my Ring Stick Up Cam for a Ring Spotlight Cam? I'm willing to pay the difference.

Answer: Yes. The Ring Stick Up Cam can be exchanged for a Ring Spotlight Cam, however, this transaction can only be handled by our community support team if the unit is still under warranty. Click here for the phone numbers of the Community Support team in your area.

Question: I purchased a Ring Stick Up Cam less than 30 days ago from Ring.com. Can I exchange it for a Ring Spotlight Cam?

Answer: Yes. As long as you are within the 30-day return window for Ring products, you can request a refund for your original Ring Stick Up Cam and then purchase a Ring Spotlight Cam or simply request an exchange from one of our Community Support team members. 

Note: You will be required to pay the difference in price between the Ring Stick Up Cam and the Ring Spotlight Cam.

Question: I purchased a Ring Stick Up Cam from a retailer. Can I exchange it for a Ring Spotlight Cam?

Answer: Yes. If you are within the retailer's return window, you can always return your Ring Stick Up Cam to the retailer and then purchase a new Ring Spotlight Cam. Customer Support team members at Ring.com can, however, also facilitate this exchange.

Question: If I purchase a battery version of the Ring Spotlight Cam from Ring.com, can I exchange it for a wired version?
