Answer: No. The Ring Video Doorbell Elite is not an upgrade or a replacement for the Ring Video Doorbell Pro. It's an entirely new product with updated features. Each product has its advantages and are best used in different situations.

Question: Can I upgrade or exchange my Ring Video Doorbell Pro to a Ring Video Doorbell Elite? I'm willing to pay the difference.

Question: I purchased a Ring Video Doorbell Pro less than 30 days ago from Ring.com. Can I exchange it for a Ring Video Doorbell Elite?

Answer: Yes. As long as you are within the 30-day return window for Ring products, you can request a refund for your original Ring Video Doorbell Pro and then purchase a Ring Video Doorbell Elite or simply request an exchange from one of our Community Support team members.

Note: You will be required to pay the difference in price between the Ring Video Doorbell Pro and the Ring Video Doorbell Elite.

Question: I purchased a Ring Video Doorbell Pro from a retailer. Can I exchange it for a Ring Video Doorbell Elite?

Answer: Yes. If you are within the retailer's return window, you can always return your Ring Video Doorbell Pro to the retailer and then purchase a new Ring Video Doorbell Elite. Community Support team members at Ring.com can, however, also facilitate this exchange.
