How do I Enable Notifications on an iPhone?

Owning a Ring product allows you to see, speak and hear any visitors that are on your property. To do this, you need to give permission for the Ring app to access to your microphone and enable notifications.

On an iPhone, follow these steps to enable notifications:

  • Open Settings.

  • Scroll down to the Ring app and select Notifications.

  • Make sure all switches are on by sliding to the right, so they turn green.

  • Under Alert Style, tap Banners or Alerts to select that style. We recommend “Alert,” but choose whichever one you like.

You will now get notifications about motion detection and visitors. Watch the video below if you need more information.

If you've followed the steps above and still can't receive alerts on your iPhone, check to see if Motion Zones and notifications are set up in your Ring app.
