How to Enable Notifications on a Mobile Device

Ring devices allows you to see, speak and hear visitors that are on your property. To do this, you need to allow the Ring app to access to your microphone and enable notifications.*

Settings and Device Notifications

Settings vary by phone but are represented by a gear icon. 

For iOS (Apple) device notifications, click on the link below and look for the section on "seeing notifications for a specific app." Then, you can navigate to the Ring app on your Apple device and start getting notifications.

For Android device notifications, click on the link below and look for "turning notifications on or off for certain apps." Then, you can navigate to the Ring app on your device settings and start getting notifications.

If you're still having trouble after you've enabled notifications in your device settings, you may need to check Motion Zones and Notifications in your Ring app.

Battery-Powered Devices
