You can change the volume of your Ring device’s speaker (along with alerts, chimes and other sounds) through the Ring app on your iOS or Android device.
How to adjust the volume on Ring Video Doorbells
For Ring Video Doorbells:
- Tap on the menu icon (≡) on the top left corner of your Ring app.
- Tap Devices.
- Select your Ring video doorbell model.
- Tap on Device Settings.
- Tap on General Settings.
- Tap on Volume Settings.
- Adjust the volume slider for the Device Speaker (Two-Way Talk).
- Or, adjust the volume slider for Doorbell Sounds for your doorbell ringer.
How to adjust the volume on Ring Security Cameras
For the Floodlight Cam Wired Plus and Floodlight Cam Wired Pro:
- Tap on the menu icon (≡) on the top left corner of your Ring app.
- Tap Devices.
- Select your Ring Security Camera model.
- Tap on Device Settings.
- Tap on General Settings.
- Tap on Volume Settings.
- Under Volume Settings, adjust the volume sliders for the device speaker.
How to adjust the volume on Ring accessories
For the Chime, Chime (2nd Generation), Chime Pro and Chime Pro (2nd Generation):
- Tap on the menu icon (≡) on the top left corner of your Ring app.
- Tap Devices.
- Select your Ring accessory.
- Tap on Audio Settings.
- Under Audio Settings, tap on Chime Alerts or Chime Tones.

- Under Chime Alerts, you can select the types of devices that will trigger a chime alert.
- Under Chime Tones, you can choose the sound the chime makes when it alerts you.
