What do I need to hardwire my Ring Video Doorbell?

Ring Video Doorbells and DC power
Newer Ring Video Doorbells come with DC power supplies instead of AC. These have been designed specifically for Ring Video Doorbells and have additional safety features not found in other DC supplies to ensure that you do not damage your Video Doorbell or power supply.
DO NOT USE any DC power supply not made by or certified by Ring. Due to the additional safety features, Ring DC supplies are not compatible with doorbell chimes. They should only be used to directly power your Video Doorbell. You do not need to use a Pro Power Kit v2 or resistor when using a Ring DC power supply.
