Note: We’re no longer supporting the Rapid Ring app.
As of July 27, 2022, Ring will no longer release any new versions of the Rapid Ring app. Over the past few years, we've upgraded the Ring app to improve overall performance and utility. You can still use the Rapid Ring app until further notice, or switch to the Ring app which can now offer the same functionality as the Rapid Ring app.

We recommend moving to the Ring app to access your Ring devices' Live View, motion notifications, and more. Tap the buttons below to download from the app store. If you turned off your Ring app notifications, turn them back on to avoid missing any alerts.
Frequently asked questions
Why is Ring no longer updating the Rapid Ring app?
Ring is always working to improve its products and enhance the security of our neighbours.
Over the last two years, the Ring Team has gained valuable learnings from our Rapid Ring app users and have applied those learnings to optimise the core Ring app to give customers an even better, more streamlined experience. The high-performance functions offered by the Rapid Ring app, like Live View, can now equally be performed by the Ring app.
Will I still be able to use the Rapid Ring app?
Yes, you can use the Rapid Ring app until further notice.
Will my Ring doorbell and cameras continue to work with the Rapid Ring app?
You can still access all Ring doorbells and security cameras that were released before July 27, 2022 in the Rapid Ring app, until further notice.
What if my Ring devices' Live View only works in the Rapid Ring app?
We recommend contacting our Customer Support Team to help troubleshoot your issue.
When switching back to the Ring app, do I need to do anything?
If you disabled Motion and other Event Alerts in the Ring app, you may have to re-enable notifications in the Ring app.
