No Audio from iOS Device to Ring Device

If you can hear the audio from your Ring Video Doorbell on your phone, but no sound is travelling from your phone to the Video Doorbell, it is possible that the Ring app does not have access to your microphone.

Follow the steps below to give the Ring app access to your microphone:

  • On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings
  • Select Privacy
  • Select Microphone
  • Ensure that the toggle next to the Ring app is enabled (green) as shown below.
