Sharing your Ring videos

When you have a Ring Protect plan, you can share or download videos from your Ring Video Doorbell or Security Camera via your Ring app or at Ring.com when you're logged into your account.

There are several different ways to access your videos:

  1. Use the main Dashboard — the first screen you see in the Ring app
  2. Go to History  — tap on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner in the Ring app
  3. Use the Device Dashboard — tap the menu icon in the Ring app, go to Devices and choose a specific doorbell or camera

You can download videos one at a time from the Ring app, or download multiple videos from Ring.com by logging in with the same username and password that you use for the Ring app.

Downloading multiple videos

You can download up to 20 videos at a time by following these instructions:

  1. Log in to your account on ring.com.
  2. Click History.
  3. Click Manage Events.
  4. Select the videos you want to save by checking the box to the left of the video.
  5. Click Download.

On your computer: The videos will be saved to your computer as a zip file in your downloaded files. Once unzipped, each .mp4 file can be opened and viewed individually. Videos will be time stamped.

On your mobile device

iOS - Apple devices - Videos will be stored in iCloud

Android - Videos will be in your Files app.

Note: You cannot download multiple videos via the Ring app, only at Ring.com

Important: If you are logging into your Ring account for the first time on a computer, you may receive a one-time security challenge that will ask you for a one-time passcode. You can get a one-time passcode from your mobile device via a text message.
