Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) Recall

Defect: If the incorrect screws are used to install the video doorbell to the mounting bracket, the screws can damage the lithium battery.

Hazard: If the lithium battery is damaged during installation, there is a risk of a fire or injury.

What to do: Consumers with uninstalled Ring Video Doorbells (2nd Generation) subject to the Recall should download a new user guide before installing their doorbell or contact Ring as indicated below for additional information.

To check whether your Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) is impacted, enter your device serial number (DSN or S/N) below. Only Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) models with certain serial numbers are included.

*You can find the DSN on the original packaging or on the back of the doorbell. Serial numbers for Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) are 16 characters long only.
